APPLICATIONS FOR 2021 ACADEMIC YEAR TEVET BURSARY AWARDS
The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) with effect from the 2021 Academic year wishes to inform the public that the mode of application for bursary support in Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (TEVET) Institutions has changed from the manual way of application to an online application system.
The TEVET Online Bursary Application System is a web based system that is accessible to anyone via the internet. It is designed to make it easier for vulnerable students to access the MoHE Online TEVET Bursary facility through an intuitive interface and guided process of application. Therefore, MoHE invites applications from successful School Leavers in need of Bursary support for the 2021 academic year at all MoHE Training Institutions through the online application system.
- Must be Zambian and in possession of a Green National Registration Card;
- Must possess acceptance letters from MoHE Training Institutions;
- Must meet the vulnerability criteria from the Public Welfare Assistance Scheme (PWAS) which can be obtained from District Social Welfare Offices where applicants reside;
- Must not be on any other bursary; and
- Must not be more than 35 years old.
Please note that only vulnerable Zambians should to apply for this Bursary and attach documents that meet the eligibility criteria above and any other necessary documents in support of their vulnerability. E.g. for orphaned applicants – copies of death certificate of deceased parents or guardians. The system will provide where to upload the required documents.
Applicants must note that selection will be based on merit and the Ministry’s decision will be final.
